Program Overview

Television Production is a practical course and you will gain solid grounding in the production process, technical and craft skills while also developing your creativity and team work. Core modules in your first year will cover all aspects for television including drama, documentary and entertainment. You will then explore your area of interest before developing your final project in your third year; a programme made to broadcast standards in either multi or single camera in any of the three areas. As part of this project you will get to pitch your ideas to a panel of industry experts. A two week work placement built into the degree will also give you essential industry experience before you graduate. In addition, our technical staff are AVID certified trainers and you could gain AVID certification as part of the degree.

Additional Information & Requirements

120 tariff points; BBB at A levels, DMM at BTEC or use a combination of qualifications to achieve the required tariff total; Grade 4/C in GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent) are normally required.; A proposal, CV, Copies of degree certificates and transcripts, Details of two references, International students will need to submit evidence of their English language proficiency; For English Test: IELTS 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in any band.
