The Media, Industry, and Innovation degree program has been developed to empower enterprising students by providing them with the necessary skills and practical experience to contribute to the transformation of the digital media landscape.

This program will provide you with both technical and business knowledge essential for success in various fields, including online publishing, social media, entertainment, digital marketing, public relations, and branding.

The degree is designed to stay up-to-date with the rapid advancements in technology, aiming to equip you with the essential skills needed to establish and thrive in a continuously evolving industry.

The course offers a comprehensive combination of theoretical media studies education along with hands-on learning opportunities.

Through a four-week placement and a ten-week live project in an industry setting, you will gain invaluable real-world experience. The placement team will be there to support you throughout these practical components of the program.

The admission criteria for this program include a range of options. For A-level qualifications, applicants are expected to achieve BBB–BCC grades (equivalent to 120–104 UCAS Tariff points), while those with BTEC Extended Diplomas should aim for DMM–MMM grades. Typically, conditional offers from our institution align with these requirements.

For candidates pursuing the International Baccalaureate, a minimum of 30 points is required, with at least three subjects at the Higher level.

Individuals holding an Access to HE Diploma should have successfully passed the program with a total of 60 credits, including a minimum of 45 credits at level 3, with at least 24 credits at a merit level or above.

In terms of English language proficiency, an overall score of 6.5 is necessary on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) examination, with a minimum score of 6.0 in the writing section and a minimum score of 5.5 in the remaining sections.
