Program Overview

It combines theoretical understanding with application to real life, so the students will have both technical proficiency and creative confidence. The syllabus includes:
Creative Writing Modules: Exploring fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and scriptwriting, honing the craft of storytelling.
Digital Media Modules: Multimedia production, digital narrative, social media, and emerging media technologies.
Workshops and Practical Projects: Hands-on classes where the students create digital content, interactive projects, and collaborative writing portfolios.
Capstone Project: A year-long end project that integrates creative and digital expertise, enabling students to create a career-launching, professional-standard portfolio.

Yearly Breakdown:

  • Year 1: Concentrates on core creative writing competencies, knowledge of narrative methods, and a first look at digital media software. Students work through workshops and begin creating a portfolio of writing and digital output.

  • Year 2: Expands to special forms of creative writing, advanced digital media techniques, and collaboration. Students get hands-on training in multimedia production and web publishing.

  • Year 3: Emphasizes industry-scale projects, individual creative projects, and industry preparedness. The students work on a capstone project where creative writing and digital media are integrated, setting them up for employment or further studies.

 

Experiential Learning (Research, Projects, Internships etc.)
