Program Overview

Diagnostic Radiographers produce and interpret images of the human body. Diagnostic Imaging is central to health care and is critical in the diagnosis and treatment of trauma and disease.GCU's Diagnostic Imaging qualification is recognised worldwide and allows you to register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Society and College of Radiographers.Most of Scotland's Diagnostic Radiographers graduate from GCU, equipped with the knowledge, competencies and attributes needed to practice in the modern health and social care services. You will have access to a dedicated x-ray suite that simulates practice.An elective placement at the end of Year 3 provides the opportunity to study abroad.
