Leeds Trinity UniversityYou will engage in a mix of theoretical and practical modules during your studies, which will encompass various subjects such as psychology, sociology, sport science, pedagogy, and philosophy. This degree focuses on practical application and vocational training, allowing you to apply what you learn to activities like games, athletics, outdoor adventurous activities, gymnastics, and dance.
Acquiring professional experience is highly important, and we will provide ample opportunities for you to put theory into practice. You will have the chance to complete work placements in a sport setting of your choice, either in the UK or abroad. Previous students have had the opportunity to work with Cricket Without Boundaries in Rwanda.
Upon completing your first year, you can choose to pursue a degree in Physical Education and School Sport or transfer to any of our three-year Physical Education or Coaching degree programs.
For the old GCSE system we require grade C or above and for the new GCSE grading system we will accept grade 4 or higher in both English Language and Maths, A Levels, BTECs and accredited Access courses, value highly the experience you illustrate in your personal statement, IELTS 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
