This will give you a solid grounding in individualised health and care provision, exploring models of person-centred provision and the impact of behaviours on health. You ll learn how to manage in health and care, understanding the factors that influence health decision-making. You ll explore contemporary health and social care delivery frameworks and structures, discovering how to appraise the effectiveness of joined-up approaches to service delivery. You ll learn from internationally active researchers who are committed to your personal and professional development, along with helping you to develop the academic skills you ll need for evidence-based practice and future research. You ll gain practical experience by completing two professional work placements in the UK or abroad, and you ll also have the opportunity to study abroad at one of our international partner universities.
For the old GCSE system we require grade C or above and for the new GCSE grading system we will accept grade 4 or higher in both English Language and Maths, A Levels, BTECs and accredited Access courses, value highly the experience you illustrate in your personal statement, IELTS 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
