Manchester Metropolitan UniversityOn completion, you will gain the professional qualification required for registration as a healthcare science practitioner (clinical physiologist). The programme builds on the core values of the NHS Constitution and fully prepares students for the challenges of healthcare science practice. We offer specialist routes in cardiac physiology, neurophysiology and respiratory and sleep physiology. You will study an academic core of biological sciences and specialist learning specific to the route you choose. You will specialise in physiological sciences (clinical physiology) and team up with other health professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Knowledge, clinical training and skills required for professional practice are attained across all three years of the programme.
Higher Secondary School Certificate awarded on completion of Standard 12 with good grade, 120 UCAS Tariff Points at A2 (Grades BBB) including a minimum grade C at A2 in Biology (must include a Pass in the Biology practical assessment),IELTS 7.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each element, 26 IB Diploma Points including HL 5 in Biology,A satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check ,Satisfactory occupational health clearance is also required, Interview
