The role requires knowledge and skills in areas such as anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, illness and disease, clinical assessment, legal and ethical issues, leadership and teamwork. This programme is for anyone seeking a career at the frontline of healthcare and is taught primarily at St James , our Manchester city centre location. It includes placements across Greater Manchester and the North West of England in both urgent/emergency care and wider health and social care settings to help your development as an evidence-based and research-aware paramedic. In addition, the programme requires approximately three weeks of study at the Edge Hill University campus in Ormskirk.
