Building upon this course s previous success, the new BSc (Hons) Midwifery Studies course has been developed to incorporate the future of midwifery practice whilst drawing on the elements of midwifery. Approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council, you will leave this course as a confident graduate who is able to contribute to the care of childbearing women. Delivered in our specialised clinical skills centre, you will have access to facilities and training equipment that is at the forefront of the healthcare You will also undertake a number of placements, and have the option of applying for an placement in the second year of your course. The BSc Midwifery Studies course has been designed to meet the requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) enabling you to apply for professional registration as a midwife on successful completion of your degree.
Standard XII/Class XII from CBSE, CISC 65% and above, 128 UCAS Tariff points . From a combination of acceptable Level 3 qualifications which may include: A-level, T Level, BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, Access to HE Diplomas, or the International Baccalaureate. GCSE Requirements: Applicants will need Maths and English Language at minimum grade 4/C, or an equivalent. Should have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 7.0 with 7.0 in each component (or an approved equivalent*).An A-level in a Science or Health related subject, or recognised equivalent. Applicants will be required to attend an interview. Admission is subject to a suitable DBS Enhanced Certificate and a satisfactory health check. Applicants must meet the Nursing and Midwifery Council's suitability for registration requirements.
