University of ChesterMental health nursing is a specialist professional course that enables you to make a unique contribution to the health and wellbeing of people of all ages who experience, or may be at risk of developing, mental health issues. However as a nurse for the future the NMC expect you to provide care for people from all fields of nursing, so we will enhance your knowledge and skills in relation to caring for adults (including older people), children and those with learning disabilities.
Successful completion of Standard 12 with 60% from Central Boards and Major State Boards (this does NOT include Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, or Jharkhand). IELTS Academic 6.0 (Min 5.5 in each sub-skill). A Level: 72 UCAS points from GCE A-level. International Baccalaureate: 24 Points
Successful graduates are able to apply for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Mental Health nurse
