The MNurs (Adult) at York is a four-year integrated master’s programme that trains you to become a fully qualified adult nurse. Curriculum Structure
Year 1
In your first year, you’ll build the foundations of nursing, focusing on the science of health and wellbeing alongside essential professional skills. Modules like Biological and Pharmacological Aspects of Health and Wellbeing, Psychological and Sociological Aspects of Health and Wellbeing, and Professional Development in Nursing: Introduction to Nursing Inquiry introduce you to human biology, psychology, and the basics of safe, compassionate care. You’ll also begin practical training with Knowledge Applied to Nursing Practice 1 & 2, giving you hands-on exposure in a supportive environment.
Year 2
