The four-year Nutrition and Dietetics programme has been specifically designed for students with a strong interest in food, people, science and medicine who wish to use their knowledge to help prevent and treat disease as a registered dietitian. Dietetics involves translating nutritional science and information about food into practical dietary advice. This may be aimed at the general public to promote health, or in a clinical environment to treat a wide range of medical disorders.
A-level Overall: ABB, required subjects Biology at grade B and one of applied science, chemistry, maths, further maths, physics, psychology, nutrition and food science, physical education or geography., IELTS of 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each band. International Baccalaureate Overall: 33, Required subjects: Biology or chemistry HL5/ SL6 and a second science or mathematics HL5/ SL6. Minimum percentage required (12 standard or HSC) 70%.
