Program Overview

Diagnostic Radiographers are essential members of the healthcare team who are responsible for the care of patients by helping to diagnose and treat illness. They use highly-specialised equipment and their daily work revolves around the interface of medical technology, medicine and people. Consequently, this degree offers an exciting mix of radiation science, human anatomy, modern technology and applied communication to develop the knowledge and skills required for a rewarding lifelong career as a Diagnostic Radiographer. It aims to provide insight, preparedness and flexibility for a career set in a clinical environment.

Additional Information & Requirements

This course isn't currently open to International and EU students. 120-128 points from 3 A levels, or equivalent, including 32 points from a Science subject (preferably Biology, Chemistry or Physics, but will accept Applied Science, PE, Psychology or Sports Science) or Mathematics, Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance and Occupational Health clearance, Interview, An average of 70% or above in the 12 Standard (Central Board) examinations or 75% in the State Board. IELTS score of 7.0 with no component score below 6.5. A levels – ABB–BBB, International Baccalaureate – 29
