Additional Information & Requirements

The completion of a relevant foundation degree (either in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry) or a Higher National Diploma (HND) with a focus on Chemistry is necessary for successful fulfillment of the requirements. It is also required to have obtained a grade C or above in GCSE English, Maths, and Science. However, other HND qualifications will be considered and evaluated based on the modules taken. For applicants with non-standard entry requirements, it is necessary to have a post-A level qualification in Chemistry or a subject that includes a significant amount of Chemistry, along with GCSEs at a minimum grade C or an equivalent. Level 2 qualifications, which should include Mathematics, English, and Science, are also required. Applicants who have completed courses at institutions other than the University of Cumbria will be assessed for suitability based on the modules they have studied.
