The Mathematics programmes will give you a thorough grounding in the key theories and techniques that underlie modern pure and applied mathematics and after your first year you will be able to choose from a varied range of modules, enabling you to focus on your specific interests. They have excellent links with an extensive portfolio of organisations, and many of our students opt to take a Professional Training placement year which gives them invaluable experience and a real head start when they graduate. Students can also engage in research within the Department of Mathematics both via summer internships and through project work.
A-level Overall: ABB, required subjects: Mathematics at Grade A, IELTS of 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each band. International Baccalaureate Overall: 33, Required subjects: HL6 in Maths (Analysis and approaches). Minimum percentage required (12 standard or HSC) 70%.
