The Mathematics with Statistics programme will give you a thorough grounding in mathematics, statistics and computing and after your first year you will be able to choose from a varied range of modules, enabling you to focus on your specific interests. They have excellent links with an extensive portfolio of companies and organisations, and many of our students opt to take a Professional Training placement year, which gives them invaluable experience and a real head start when they graduate. Students can also engage in research within the Department of Mathematics both via summer internships and through project work.
A-level Overall: ABB, required subjects Required subjects: Mathematics at Grade A. IELTS of 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each band. International Baccalaureate Overall: 33, Required subjects: HHL6 in Maths (Analysis and approaches). Minimum percentage required (12 standard or HSC) 70%.
