Program Overview

During your initial year, you will be encouraged to draw inspiration from your own experiences and engage with the world around you to generate creative material. Additionally, you will begin to delve into the fundamental aspects of philosophical study.

In your second year, you will have the opportunity to explore various forms of creative writing, including poetry, short fiction, life writing, flash fiction, and writing for children. Moreover, you will delve into more intricate philosophical concepts, such as political extremism, theology, justice, and bio-ethics.

As you progress to your final year, the creative modules will enable you to further develop your skills and explore your preferred discipline and genre. You will have the chance to focus on specific genres like YA fiction, flash fiction, digital writing, fantasy, and science fiction. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to explore the realms of the novel, short stories, and poetry.

In the realm of philosophy, your studies will culminate with options to investigate revised perspectives on historical understandings of religion, gender, and sexuality.
