BA (Hons) Philosophy and English Literature

3 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

University of Hertfordshire

Program Overview

Academic philosophy examines our background conceptual frames and assumptions. Our thoughts, words and deeds make sense only because they fit into a larger conceptual frame. English literature students can choose from an exciting range of modules encompassing literary 'classics' by canonical writers, such as Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens and John Milton, as well as contemporary and popular works by authors including Ian McEwan, Margaret Atwood and Carol Ann Duffy.
