Curriculum Structure

Year 1 – Introducing Core Legal Principles

Modules such as Legal Skills and Professional Practice, Contract Law, and Criminal Law introduce you to the legal system, case analysis and the fundamentals of legal reasoning. You’ll begin building the mindset and skills expected of future legal professionals.

Year 2 – Strengthening Your Legal Knowledge

Your second year takes you deeper into the frameworks that govern rights, responsibilities and justice. You’ll study modules including Tort Law, Public Law and Land Law, each helping you understand how legal disputes unfold and how decisions are made. This year strengthens your ability to apply legal principles to real scenarios with clarity and confidence.

Year 3 – Advanced Study and Professional Development

In your final year, you’ll have the chance to specialise in areas that reflect your interests and career goals. You’ll explore advanced topics such as Equity and Trusts and choose optional modules like Family Law, Human Rights or Commercial Law. Alongside this, you’ll complete a dissertation or major research project that allows you to investigate an area of law you’re passionate about.
