BBL Bachelor of Business and Laws

3 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

University of Exeter

Program Overview

The BBL (Bachelor of Business and Laws) offers a unique opportunity to study both law and business equally, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of how companies are run, managed, and regulated. Throughout the program, you will engage in case studies, discuss current business issues, and explore key theories, all while honing essential skills in presentation, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.

At the University of Essex’s Penryn Campus, you will thrive within a close-knit, supportive community committed to academic excellence. The curriculum is designed to guide and enhance your learning at every stage, offering practical learning opportunities from day one. You’ll address real-world problems by applying both business and law principles, participating in immersive learning events such as HACK, IMPACT, and IMAGINE, which are unique to the campus.

The program emphasizes transferable skills, ensuring you’re well-prepared for a successful career. By collaborating with businesses, law firms, legal NGOs, and non-profit organizations, you’ll gain hands-on experience that will shape your future career prospects.

However, it’s important to note that the BBL program does not cover all of the Foundations of Legal Knowledge, so it may not qualify you for direct qualification as a solicitor or barrister without further study.
