Throughout the course, you'll develop expertise in English and European Union law, human rights, and other key legal areas. You'll also gain valuable transferable skills, including communication, independent research, teamwork, and public speaking. Practical learning is emphasized through activities such as mooting, pro bono work, and legal placements.

The Mansfield Law Society, led by a Supreme Court judge, organizes networking events and guest speaker sessions.

To enhance your advocacy skills, you'll have access to our mock courtroom, complete with a dock, witness box, and public gallery. You can also participate in a mentoring program in collaboration with Clyde & Co and the East London Business Alliance, providing first-year students with insights into the legal profession.

Additionally, the Law Mentoring Programme pairs students with postgraduate mentors to support career development, commercial awareness, and CV writing. Interactive workshops, taster sessions, and networking events further enrich your learning experience, preparing you for a successful legal career.
