Curriculum Structure:

Year 1:
In your first year, you’ll build a solid foundation in core legal principles, including Public Law, Contract Law, and Criminal Law. Year 2:

Year 3:
Your final year focuses on specialisation and professional preparation. Optional modules may include Human Rights Law, Commercial Law, and Intellectual Property Law, while a dissertation or independent research project allows you to explore a legal topic of your choice in depth.

  • Bristol Law Clinic
    Engage in real-life legal practice by providing free legal advice to the public under the supervision of qualified solicitors. Students handle 2–3 cases annually, attend court and tribunal hearings, and participate in outreach projects with local schools and community partners.

  • Paid Internships
    The Law Clinic offers 6–8 week paid internships during spring and summer, funded by alumni donations. Interns work on approximately 20 cases, gaining intensive legal experience.

  • Human Rights Law Clinic
