A Recognised Qualifying Law Degree (QLD)

Accredited Programme – This LLB (Hons) Law degree is a Qualifying Law Degree (QLD), meeting the academic requirements for legal practice as set by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and the Bar Standards Board (BSB).
Preparation for Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) – The course prepares students for the new SQE pathway, ensuring they develop essential legal expertise and professional competencies.
Comprehensive Legal Curriculum – The programme covers core legal areas, including Contract Law, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, EU Law, Tort Law, Land Law, and Equity & Trusts, ensuring a well-rounded legal education.

🏛️ Legal Clinics & Pro Bono Work

a. Legal Advice Centre

b. Windrush Legal Advice Clinic

Launched in December 2020, this pro bono clinic assists individuals with the Windrush Compensation Scheme and helps undocumented individuals obtain documents to regularize their immigration status. Law students play an active role in providing support to clients. ​wlv.ac.uk


🧠 Mooting & Mock Trials

a. Mooting Competitions

The University hosts various mooting competitions, such as the Oxford University Press National Mooting Competition, where students argue fictitious legal cases in front of judges. b. Sandwich Placement Year

📁 Final-Year Legal Project / Dissertation
