The Law and Economics Joint Honours BA (Hons) at DMU will equip you with a broad knowledge of the main features, concepts and principles of the UK and EU legal systems, along with developing your understanding of the business environment and how economic policy is formulated in the context of contemporary economic events.The Law and Economics Joint Honours is not a qualifying law degree and does not exempt you from the academic stage of legal training for the Law Society and Bar Council. However, at the end of year one it maybe possible to transfer to the Law LLB, which is a qualifying law degree course.
