Enhance your CV by getting involved in DMU Street Law or DMU’s Law and Mooting Society. These extracurricular activities offer valuable experiences in mooting, presentations, mock trials, and client interviews, helping you build confidence and practical expertise.

Experiential Learning (Research, Projects, Internships etc.)

⚖️ 1. Mooting and Client Interviewing

DMU law students actively participate in regional and national mooting and client interviewing competitions. These activities provide valuable experience in legal research, public speaking, and client interaction, essential skills for aspiring legal professionals. ​De Montfort University


🧠 2. Pro Bono Activities and Street Law

🎓 4. Legal Practice Course (LPC) Progression

LLB graduates from DMU are guaranteed a place on the Legal Practice Course (LPC), subject to meeting specific conditions. This progression route supports students aiming to qualify as solicitors in England and Wales.

  • Solicitor: Graduates can progress to the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) route, supported by DMU’s focus on practical legal skills and professional preparation.
