Year 1

Your first year introduces you to the foundations of legal thinking and the frameworks that govern the English legal system. You’ll study modules such as Contract Law, Criminal Law, and Public Law, giving you a clear understanding of how legal rules are created, interpreted, and applied. Alongside this, you’ll build essential skills through Legal Method and Research, helping you develop confidence in case analysis and academic writing.

Year 2

In your second year, you deepen your expertise across core areas while strengthening your analytical abilities. Modules such as Tort Law, Land Law, and Equity and Trusts challenge you to think more critically about complex legal issues and real-life disputes. You’ll also expand your practical awareness through modules like Law in Practice, where you connect legal theory with everyday professional scenarios.

Year 3

Your final year empowers you to specialise and shape your career direction. You can explore applied and contemporary subjects such as Commercial Law, Family Law, Criminal Evidence, or Human Rights Law, depending on your interests.
