Canterbury Christ Church UniversityThis degree is a one-year top-up for those who have already achieved either the Social Care Studies Foundation Degree or are able to evidence accredited prior learning up to and including Level 5 in related subjects.It is a pre-qualifying degree in Social Work, and will equip you with the relevant skills, knowledge and values required to apply to practise professionally as a Social Worker. The aim is for you to practise as a confident, capable, critical and reflective practitioner in a range of different settings using a strong commitment to social justice, application of professional values and recognition of the diverse needs of members of society.
Foundation Degree Social Care Studies Or Accredited prior learning of 120 credits at Level 4 and 120 Credits at Level 5 in a related subject area with significant experience in a suitable environment. For example you may have previously completed the first 2 years of a BA (Hons) Social Work. Selection is by interview and written test. IELTS score of 6.0 overall with 6.0 in Writing and 5.5 in all other bands. Enhanced DBS clearance.Occupational Health Clearance
