The BA American Studies degree programme is an interdisciplinary course, enabling you to study American history and literature, as well as giving you the opportunity to study politics and film. The programme invites you to engage with diverse forms of cultural expression, including novels, poetry, photographs, paintings, historical and political documents, classic texts, bestsellers, and movies. The third year of this degree programme is spent abroad, providing you with an invaluable academic and cultural experience, one that most students consider to be the highlight of their time at university.
For A Level - ABB Scores, including History, or one of the essay-based subjects listed below: Ancient History, Archaeology, Anthropology, Classical Civilisation, Classical Studies, English Literature, History of Art, Politics, Government and Politics, Psychology, Sociology, Film Studies, Media Studies, Philosophy, Religious Studies, Geography. IELTS score 6.0 overall (minimum 5.5 in any component). The 12th Standard minimum of 70%, IB: 32. Interview required.
