Year 1
To be admitted in Year 1, you need to meet certain entry requirements. The standard requirement for Scottish Higher is ABBB, which must include a B in English. The minimum requirement is BBBC, including English. For A level qualifications, you should have BCC grades, along with a C/4 grade in GCSE English.

The minimum entry requirements mentioned above are specifically for widening access students. Widening access students are individuals who belong to underrepresented groups in higher education. This includes individuals residing in specific postcodes, attending certain schools or colleges, participating in SWAP (Scottish Wider Access Programme), being care-experienced or providing care for someone, having refugee status, or being an asylum seeker.

For ILC Higher, you should have H1, H2, H3, and H3 grades, with a requirement of H2 in English. For the IB Diploma, you need to achieve a minimum of 26 points, including a pass in English. If you are pursuing BTEC qualifications, you should have a DMM Extended Diploma, along with a C/4 grade in GCSE English. For SWAP students in the Humanities field, the requirement is BBB.

Year 3
If you are applying for Year 3, having completed a College HND (Higher National Diploma) in Creative Industries, Media and Communication, Practical Journalism, Advertising, or PR, your graded units should be AB/BA.

IELTS 6.0 with 5.5 in each section.
