Combine a specialised study of economics with a broad understanding of the functions and processes involved in the management of an organisation.You ll cover the core concepts, practices and techniques of each subject, gaining an understanding of microeconomics, macroeconomics, organisational behaviour and strategic management. You ll also learn about key aspects of business such as marketing and supply chain management. Diverse optional modules will give you the chance to focus on topics that interest you, such as business or labour economics, econometrics, transnational corporations or managing people from different backgrounds and cultures.You ll explore the interaction between the economic environment and the organisations which inhabit it, while developing the analytical, quantitative, computing, presentation and other transferable skills required by the business world and employers in both the private and public sectors.
