The environment is a major focus of teaching within the School and Geography is central to this. Students develop knowledge and transferable skills across traditional subject boundaries and address the major environmental challenges facing mankind today. We offer BA and BSc Honours degrees in Geography and a 4 year integrated Masters degree (MGeog).
A minimum of 96 - 128 UCAS tariff points from at least 3 A2 subjects (including a C grade or above in A2 Geography). Mathematics and English Language or Welsh at GCSE grade C or above are essential, A minimum of 120 UCAS tariff points on the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (including grade H5 or above in Geography at the Higher Level), A minimum of 120 UCAS tariff points in a Science or Environmental/Land-based or Humanities Access Course (merit grade required in Geography for the Humanities course), Personal Statement and IELTS of 6.0. Minimum percentage required (12 standard or HSC) 65%.
