Geographers have started to consider the long-term trends that have shaped the world around us and, at the same time, environmental and urban history have recently emerged as vibrant areas. Your course will give you the opportunity to explore the connections and conflicts between these fields. You will study cultural, social, political and environmental developments locally, nationally and globally, and you will discover how these changes have formed the environments, landscapes and societies we live in today.
