Curriculum Structure
Foundation Year (Year 0):

This year ensures you’re fully prepared for the main degree and sets a strong base for your future studies.
Year 1 (Level 4):
Here you’ll start exploring the world of international relations and military history in depth. Modules like Introduction to International Relations and Introduction to Military History will give you a solid understanding of global political systems and key historical conflicts. You’ll also continue developing your research and analytical skills through Academic Skills for Politics.
Year 2 (Level 5):
This year takes you deeper into the subjects, blending theory and real-world application. Theories of International Relations introduces different ways to understand global politics, while Modern Military History examines conflicts from the 19th century onward. You’ll also explore International Security, looking at contemporary global challenges and how nations respond to them.
Year 3 (Level 6):
