Curriculum Structure

Year 1: Foundations of Global Understanding

In your first year, you’ll build a solid grounding in international relations. Modules like Global Governance and International Institutions show how states, organizations, and corporations shape the world. Politics in the Modern World and The Sociological Imagination help you understand political structures and society’s influence, giving you the tools to think critically about global issues.

Year 2: Deepening Analytical Perspectives

Year two lets you explore international relations in more depth. With modules such as International Relations, Security and Sustainability, you’ll tackle key global security and sustainability challenges. Politics and History of the Middle East provides a detailed understanding of one of the world’s most complex regions. This year strengthens your analytical skills and helps you connect theory to real-world events.

Year 3: Advanced Analysis and Dissertation

In your final year, you focus on independent research and advanced topics. You’ll complete a dissertation on a topic of your choice, supported by faculty guidance. Optional modules like Understanding Key Economic Concepts or Issues in Contemporary Politics and Philosophy let you tailor your studies to your interests, preparing you for a range of professional opportunities.
