You’ll study topics like Democracy, Markets and Society, Philosophy of Mind and World, and Quantitative Methods in Economics to understand how data, ethics, and political power interact. This is when PPE really becomes interdisciplinary—you’ll apply philosophical arguments to political debates and use economic models to think about public policy.

Year 3 – Specialisation and Independent Research

In your final year, you choose modules that match your interests—whether that’s European politics, game theory, political philosophy, development economics, or ethics. You’ll also complete a dissertation or major research project, where you explore a topic that combines at least two of the PPE subjects.
