During the initial year, you will establish a firm foundation by studying the theoretical approaches and research methods used in the field of Politics and International Relations.
The course acquaints you with the political histories and contexts of four countries: Britain, Russia, China, and the United States.
In your second year, you will have the opportunity to shape your degree based on your personal interests. This involves exploring topics such as international human rights, organizations, conflicts, and security challenges.
By your final year, you will have developed a clear focus for your final dissertation project, having gained a solid understanding of a particular area within politics.
In addition to your dissertation, you will have the chance to delve into more specific aspects of Politics and International Relations. These may include exploring the politics of East Asia, international diplomacy, the impact of globalization, and the evolution of international law.
A recognised and relevant foundation/Access course (minimum pass mark for a UK-based foundation programme is usually 55%), Higher Secondary School Certificate with a minimum score of 60%, High School Diploma (to age 18) where it is deemed equivalent to A Levels (3 A Level passes at BBB/BCC), An International Baccalaureate (28 points), EDEXCEL BTEC National Diploma (MMM-DMM), IELTS 6.0 overall with no component less than 5.5 (or equivalent).
