Canterbury Christ Church UniversityOur MSc Foundations in Clinical Psychology will prepare you to potentially pursue doctoral training in clinical psychology, or training in other mental health disciplines, and provides a stepping stone towards a rewarding career working in the field of mental health.This course includes specilaised teaching from qualified clinical psychologists, active researchers, and other mental health practitioners. After successful completion you will have gained an in-depth knowledge of theory, practice and research in clinical psychology, a discipline that involves the application of the scientific theory and principles of psychology to help in the understanding and alleviation of psychological distress and dysfunction, and in promoting well-being.
A 2:2 minimum in an undergraduate course with Psychology major, including successful completion of research methods modules (covering quantitative and qualitative approaches) and a dissertation (independent research project) module. IELTS (or equivalent) 7.0 overall, with no less than 7.0 in writing and no less than 6.5 in all other bands.
