You ll cover the core theories and themes in psychology, as well as exploring specialist forensic psychology topics which include theories of crime, risk assessment and treatment of offenders, forensic mental health, self-harm and suicide in prisons, and offending behaviour programmes. You ll be taught by practitioners and academics in the field of forensic psychology, who ll give you individualised support throughout your degree. For the old GCSE system we require grade C or above and for the new GCSE grading system we will accept grade 4 or higher in both English Language and Maths, A Levels, BTECs and accredited Access courses, value highly the experience you illustrate in your personal statement, IELTS 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
