Students have the chance to take a placement year or study abroad, enhancing their academic and personal development.

A Psychology degree from Bradford opens the door to a wide range of professional paths. Our graduates go on to work in diverse sectors including clinical and health psychology, business, education, human resources, sports, criminal justice, and research.

Why Choose Bradford?

We offer access to advanced psychological research facilities, including EEG systems (Biopac) and virtual reality labs. Our emphasis on small-group teaching through seminars and labs ensures a personalised learning experience. Students benefit from monthly research seminars led by global experts, often with opportunities for active participation.

Support is a key focus—each student is assigned a personal tutor, and peer-assisted learning is built into your timetable. Students may also become peer mentors, further enriching their university journey.

Our programme includes a supervised placement in your final year, and internships are available in years 2 and 3. You may gain workplace experience through partnerships with schools, mental health services, and clinical placements, including with the Bradford District Care Trust and the Born in Bradford project.
