Curriculum Structure
Year One
You begin with core modules in areas such as social psychology, cognition, biological bases of behaviour, personality and individual differences, along with experimental and survey research methods. This solid grounding introduces you to human behaviour, essential psychological methods, and an understanding of how to conduct and analyse research
Year Two
In the second year, your knowledge deepens with advanced social psychology and infant & child development, paired with qualitative research methods. You’ll also take part in a Psychology in Practice module which includes work-based learning aligned with your career interests
Year Three
Your final year culminates in a substantial empirical project (Research Paper) credited at 40 credits. You then specialize through elective options such as Clinical Psychology and Counselling Approaches in Psychology, choosing from humanistic, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioural paradigms

Year Two includes a Psychology in Practice module that involves work-based learning, helping you apply theory in professional settings and boosting employability
