Program Overview

During your initial year, you will uncover the captivating insights offered by sociology, which shed light on numerous aspects of our social environment. This period will lay a solid groundwork upon which you will continue to build throughout your entire academic journey.

Moving on to the second year, you will have the chance to delve into specific areas of interest and begin specializing in subjects that intrigue you. This stage involves exploring contemporary perspectives on various subjects, including but not limited to sexuality, health and well-being, crime, and the media.

As you progress into your third year, your focus will be on completing a final dissertation project that serves as the culmination of your knowledge and experiences gathered during your degree program.

In addition to the dissertation, you will also examine the media's role in the increased prevalence of anxiety among younger generations. Furthermore, you will explore how the media reflects the world around us and gain an understanding of the sociological principles underlying aggression and violence.
