During your initial year, the primary focus will be on exploring various working methods and developing fundamental skills in voice, movement, and collaborative creation. Additionally, you will engage in critical and theoretical studies aimed at broadening your cultural understanding of theatrical spaces. Throughout the year, you will participate in four distinct project modules: Narrative, Physical and Visual Theatre, Text and Deconstruction, and Cultural Identity, which will involve the creation of performances.

The second year revolves around two significant performance projects, one in each semester. The first project entails writing and developing text specifically for performance, while the second project delves into the exploration of post-structural concepts in performance. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to choose elective modules in complementary practices such as clowning, script writing, body-based performance, site-based performance, and theatre-in-education. Concurrently, your critical and cultural studies will continue through an examination of romanticism and post-modernism.

In your final year, you will have the chance to shape your own portfolio of theatre practice by selecting from a diverse range of exciting performance options. These options include Adaptation and Direction, Solo Performance, Experimental Workshop Performance, Performance Writing, New Technology and Performance, and Documentation. Additionally, all students will collaborate to produce a major production as part of small performance companies and complete a written dissertation. Key career development opportunities will be provided through various modules, such as Company Management, Applied Arts, and Work Placement.
