BS Agricultural Communication

The Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communication combines knowledge and skills from agriculture and communication studies to prepare students to advocate and communicate for farmers, ranchers, and professionals from all aspects of the agricultural industry. Students build a solid foundation in all areas of agriculture from animal science and plant science to agribusiness and agricultural mechanics combined with the verbal, written and technical skills to be successful in their chosen career.

Students work with our award-winning faculty using state-of-the-art equipment to complete courses in writing, editing, photography, graphic design, publication, public relations and event planning, broadcasting, and digital media creation. Our degree successfully blends agriculture and communication studies to prepare students for unlimited possibilities. All students complete a 10-week capstone internship experience during their final semester providing them with hands-on, real-world experience to prepare them for success upon graduation.
