Program Overview

Animal science is the study of domestic animals including livestock species (horses, beef and dairy cattle, sheep, goats, swine and poultry) and companion animals. Students study concepts from production through processing and learn about the value associated with livestock, as well as meat and milk produced from those animals.Study ranching and beef cattle production, focusing on cow-calf and stocker management and forage production including range management.
