It also includes plant conservation, landscape restoration, soil management, landscape and garden design, construction, and maintenance, and arboriculture. The course provides a basic understanding of the world fruit and vegetable industry. Emphasizes world, U.S. and Florida production regions, biology, soils, nutrition, terminology, types of fruits and vegetables, site selection and more.
