Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in food science and human nutrition degree program allows students to choose from one of three concentrations human nutrition and dietetics, food science, or food management. Food science is the study of the chemistry, microbiology and processing of foods. Human Nutrition and Dietetics is the study of the effect of nutrients on people s health and the role of diet in prevention or treatment of chronic diseases.
