Jacksonville State UniversityForensic Laboratory/Technician is designed for students interested in working in a laboratory environment as either a forensic scientist or technician and is a solid foundation for graduate study. Track Two requires a minor or second major in either Biology, Chemistry, or Physics to assist in making our graduates as educated in their chosen area as possible.

Profile Assessment: Science applicants are generally assessed on the rigour of their Mathematics and laboratory-science coursework. Relevant preparation may include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Calculus or Statistics, depending on the intended field. Research, science fairs, Olympiads, laboratory exposure, independent investigation and environmental or community-science projects can demonstrate scientific curiosity and analytical thinking.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school.
