The Art History program at Converse provides students with an understanding of visual culture through the ages, a knowledge of the major artists and artworks and their historical context.Converse University's major in art history develops your ability to analyze, write, and discuss specific periods and artists' style, content, theory, and historical context. You will expand your understanding of visual culture through lecture and discussion, museum field trips, internships and travel study opportunities.
