Understanding Social Problems, Designing Social ChangeThe first degree-bearing program of its kind, the MA in Social Design (MASD) curriculum introduces students to a broad theoretical framework for understanding the social world, encourages them to think critically about the complexity of social problems and social change, exposes them to human-centered methods and models for social impact, and prepares them with a core set of skills necessary to pursue professional opportunities in the emerging practice of social design.
