Program Overview

Although a transfer student may apply to the FEA Narrative Production option prior to learning whether or not they have been admitted to the university, they cannot be accepted into the option until they have been officially admitted to the university. The Film and Electronic Arts Department is not involved in the university admissions process. If an applicant is admitted to the university but does not receive a favorable review of their portfolio, they will be offered admission to the FEA Option in Theory and Practice of Cinema.

Additional Information & Requirements

Complete each of the courses in the comprehensive pattern of college preparatory subject requirements with a grade of C or higher prior to high school graduation.3.0 GPA or greater in college preparatory subjects, AND 3,500 minimum CSULB Index to be considered, for non-STEM major and a 3,600 minimum STEM Index for STEM majors.
